Photobook launch, with Marcella Green, Jason Lipeles, and Anthony Farris, Sunday, June 30, 2024, 6:30pm

Please join us Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 6:30pm at Counterpath (7935 East 14th Ave. in Denver) for the launch of Marcella Green’s photobook (Faint Line Press, 2024). Readings and performances by Marcella Green, Jason Lipeles, and Anthony Farris. Doors open at 6:30pm. 

Marcella Green is based in Philly where she works primarily in photography, writing, and zine library art installations. She is the founder of an independent art library and community space called fathom library and co-founder of an online image text publication called the ee! a space for loving response. Marcella also joyfully teaches art at Fleisher Art Memorial. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Creative Writing and Sculpture from Binghamton University in 2014, a Post Bac Certificate in Photography MassArt in 2016, and her MFA in Image and Text from Ithaca College in 2018. She is currently pursuing her M.Ed. in Art Education at Temple University and is excited to embark on her next chapter as a public art teacher.

Jason Lipeles is a writer, video artist, and human-being-with-feelings. He founded Faint Line Press, and co-founded the ee!, a space for loving responses to zines and artbooks, with Marcella Green. He is an alumnus of Image Text Ithaca MFA; Reciprocity Artist Retreat; and Institute for Jewish Creativity. His first book, Letters to M., was published by Pilot Press in 2021. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Denver.

Anthony Farris is a musician and poet from Las Vegas, Nevada. His work primarily centers on time, history and visual art as well as the ambiguity and multiplicity of meaning.
