– Jenn Gross, from Councilwoman Sawyer’s office will share about several District 5 happenings, including a Verbena Park cleanup on Oct. 10.

City Council Redistricting – Emily Lapel, a legislative analyst from the City Council central office will provide an overview of the city council redistricting process and the ways East Colfax residents can get involved. Let’s advocate for the city council boundaries we would like to see! This redistricting process happens every ten years and has huge ramifications for our neighborhood. Please come out to participate in this very important initial conversation.
Group Living – Councilwoman Kniech will be at tonight’s meeting to discuss Denver ballot initiative 2F and attempts to repeal the Group Living ordinance passed by City Council in February. Here’s a recent Westword article about 2F.
Denver Office of the Clerk and Recorder – Someone from this office will be there to talk about voter registration. The election is coming up on Nov. 2. (Ballots go out on Oct. 8!)
