Michael “Skillzilla” Ferguson (He/Him) is a college professor, a Black Nerd, and writer. His classrooms center Black voices since his time in academic spaces spent so much time keeping his people hidden. Michael’s poetry focuses on his lived experience with racial and social injustice and imagining what it would be like if superheroes were real. If Michael isn’t writing, then he’s probably reading comics, watching trash tv with his spouse or playing Street Fighter.
Jason Lipeles (he/him) is a writer, video artist, and human-being-with-feelings. He founded Faint Line Press and co-founded the ee! with Marcella Green. He is an alumnus of Image Text Ithaca MFA; Reciprocity Artist Retreat; and Institute for Jewish Creativity. His book, Letters to M., a finalist for the Chautauqua Janus Prize, was published by Pilot Press in 2021. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Denver.
