Cole Swensen coleswensen.org has twenty books of poetry out, most recently Veer (Alice James Books, 2026). A former Guggenheim Fellow and a recipient of the Iowa Poetry Prize, among others, she has also been a finalist for the Griffin Prize, the National Book Award, and the LA Times Book Award and was awarded the 2025 Paul Engle Prize by the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature. Also a translator, she is the translation editor for Fence magazine and has won the PEN USA Award in Translation, the 2024 ALTA National Translation Prize, and the 2025 Stephen Mitchell Prize.
Julie Carr’s recent books are The Garden (Overflow, book one); Underscore; Mud, Blood, & Ghosts: Populism, Eugenics, & Spiritualism in the American West. 100 Notes on Violence, recently reissued by Omnidawn, will soon be published in Spanish edition in Argentina and Chile. Her co-translations, with Jennifer Pap, of Leslie Kaplan’s Excess-The Factory and The Book of Skies, were published by Commune Editions & Pamenar Press (UK). Books two and three of Overflow will be published sequentially over the next few years. She hosts the podcast “Return the Key: Jewish Questions for Everyone,” and teaches at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Carolina Ebeid is a multimedia poet. She is the author of Hide (Graywolf Press, 2026), You Ask Me to Talk About the Interior (Noemi Press, 2016) and the chapbook Dauerwunder: a brief record of facts (Albion Books, 2023). Her work has been supported by the Stadler Center for Poetry at Bucknell University, CantoMundo, the NEA, and a residency fellowship from the Lannan Foundation. Her work has been installed and screened at universities and galleries such as Stelo Arts in Portland, Squeaky Wheel Film and Video Art Center, and the Denver Museum of Art’s Untitled: Artist Takeover. A longtime editor, she currently edits the multimedia site Visible Binary.
