Nafas Reading: Shreeya Shrestha, Remy Malik, and Semkyi Naksang-Hall, Friday, October 30, 2026, 7pm

As part of Nafas Reading Series, join us on Friday, October 30, at 7 pm, at Counterpath (7935 East 14th Ave. in Denver) for a reading by shreeya shrestha, remy malik, and semkyi naksang-hall, hosted by neshat sadatmansoori. Free and open to the public.

Shreeya Shrestha is an artisan and a writer working with textile, food, and poetry. Obsessed with craft, labor, and lyric, her work seeks landscapes in language where one can find the home they lack. Shrestha holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics where she was the Anne Waldman Fellow. Her work has appeared in text in Oakland Arts Review and OurGlass, in material at the SEEN Exhibit, and as wearables and stage design in various artist performances. Born and raised in Nepal, Shrestha currently calls Puerto Rico her not-home.

remy malik (they/them) is a black artist from the traditional and unceded lands of the Osage, Kaskaskia, and Kiikaapoi tribes. Their first chapbook, Black Domain/keyboard, is available from Spiral Editions. Their favorite ice cream is miso brownie and their favorite designer is Hung La. Please join them in ascending from this plane.

Semkyi Naksang-Hall is a Boulder-based poet and writer currently pursuing a BA at Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics. Their writing, which has previously been featured in the Bombay Gin Literary Journal, draws on surrealism, mythology, and the distortion of language itself.

Nafas Reading Series, hosted by Nafas Residency and Counterpath, brings together guests at the residency with local writers and artists for presentations of their work and conversation.
