Join us on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 7pm for a reading Catherine Corbett Bresner, Eric Baus, Sara Kachelman, and Shawn Cremer. Organized by Stella Corso. The event takes place at Counterpath, 7935 East 14th Ave. in Denver, and is free and open to the public.

Catherine Corbett Bresner (they/she) are the author of the chapbooks The Merriam Webster Series (2012) and some break a / others say do (Press Brake, 2025), and the full-length poetry collections Can We Anything We See (Spuyten Duyvil, 2025), the empty season (Diode Editions Book Prize, 2018), and the artist book Everyday Eros (Mount Analogue, 2017). They believe in a free Palestine. 

Eric Baus is the author of How I Became a Hum and other books. He teaches in the Low Residency Mile High MFA program at Regis University. 

Sara Kachelman is a PhD student and teacher of creative writing at DU, where she edits prose for Denver Quarterly. Her short stories have appeared in Chicago Review, Columbia Review, and Diagram

Shawn Cremer was born in Denver. He writes the newsletter Scremes Report, a guide to the literary culture of New York, London, and LA; and co-hosts Boyfriends & Family, an itinerant reading series. He is writing his first novel. 

Stella Corso is the author of Green Knife and Tantrum from Rescue Press. She has a PhD in English & Literary Arts from DU and is a Visiting Instructor in the Jack Kerouac School at Naropa University.
